Below is the current list of tentative shows we plan to attend in 2009 on behalf of the Teen Association of Model Railroaders--our "world tour" so to speak. While we take pride in our work, the layout was ultimately constructed as a promotional tool to help the TAMR become more visible at train shows--even though we own the modules.

Please stop by the TAMR table and tell us you saw our Web site. Lavish comments of praise for our endeavor are also accepted, though not required. Flattery may not get you anywhere, but it sure helps.

Tentative Train Show Dates - 2009:

  • January 24 & 25 -- West Springfield, MA; Railroad Hobby Show
Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the show opens at 9:00 A.M. and closes at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, it opens at 10:00 A.M., also closing at 5:00 P.M. The show is located at the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds, West Springfield, MA. Admission is $10.00 for adults, children 15 and under free. Parking is $5.00 per day. Directions and additional information can be found by clicking here. This will be TAMR's twenty-first year at the show, and the LE&O's fourth visit.  Please be sure to stop by (we will be in the Better Living Center) and say "Hello, from the Internet." The first five visitors to say that line will receive a brand new car, so hurry!

  • October 3 & 4 -- Berea, OH; Carnival of Model Railroading
Saturday and Sunday. The Mid-Central Region's Division Four of the NMRA will host the 36th Carnival of Model Railroading. Doors open at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday and 11:00 A.M. on Sunday.  The show closes each day at 4:00 P.M.  The cost (based on 2007 flyer) is $6.00 for adults while children under 16 are free with an adult.  There is also a two-day pass available for $9.00.  Parking is free!  With over four buildings (or 62,000 square feet) of trains on the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, it may seem tough to find us (we'll be in the last building to the right).  We look forward to seeing you in Berea!
