Last Surviving Hocking Valley Railway Locomotive
The only surviving locomotive of the Hocking
Valley Railway is C&O 2-8-0 no. 701, which was originally HV no. 171. Still in fairly good condition, this historic locomotive
currently rests at a park in Covington, Virginia. Her final
working days were stationed out of Clifton Forge, VA, working the Hot Springs
Branch.
Thanks to Grant Geist for providing the first two pictures.

View from the left-front of the tender, up to the front of the locomotive; good view of side-rods and boiler.
